Our national apostle José Martí used to say … “Helping those who need it is not only part of our duty, but also of happiness.”
And it is thus, to that extent, in which workers from TC Mariel in a humanitarian act made donations of essential items to be delivered to hospitals.
On this occasion, the articles were sent to the José Ramón Martínez Provincial Pediatric Hospital located in the municipality of Guanajay, which was attended on behalf of the workers’ group, the representative of the union section of TC Mariel as well as the secretary of the C / B of the UJC and other specialists from our company to deliver the items offered by our workers.
“Grateful for such important and beautiful gesture, which in these times is very necessary and even more for the children that are hospitalized,” said the director of the Pediatric Hospital, who enthusiastically welcomed our staff on this day full of love and solidarity.
In the same way, they approached the project “To Guanajay, more love”, led by Alejandro Lóriga Santos, journalist and leader of this work, where other articles were delivered, which would be destined for the elderly. “Thank you very much for your collaboration with this project, many of our old people will appreciate it”, stated the young journalist, feeling excited to see that also the users of the Zed Mariel, as well as our company in particular, joined this activity responding to this municipality, “yes, to Guanajay and for Guanajay, more love.”
